[AWS documents](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/servicenow-on-behalf-of-token-exchange-with-bedrock-agentcore-gateway/) an on-behalf-of token exchange using Microsoft Entra ID and Amazon Bedrock AgentCore Gateway. The configuration lets an agent call the ServiceNow REST API while preserving the calling user’s identity. AWS says the gateway handles the exchange natively, without an interceptor Lambda or custom code.
The executive implication: evaluate delegated authority alongside model capability. Preserving identity is a foundation, not proof that every downstream permission is correct. Before approving a pilot, require tests showing that permitted requests succeed, prohibited requests fail, and actions can be traced to the initiating user.
[AWS’s Amazon Quick walkthrough](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/bring-structured-and-unstructured-data-together-with-amazon-quick/) combines structured datasets and unstructured material in a conversational interface, including an Amazon S3 knowledge base and a custom chat agent. This is a general enterprise pattern, not evidence of a dental deployment.
For a DSO, consider a narrow administrative pilot: answering practice operating questions from approved procedures and non-patient operational data. Keep clinical recommendations and patient information outside the initial scope. Assign an operations owner, enforce practice-level access where required, and evaluate answers against approved definitions and source documents before expanding.
[CISA added CVE-2026-119977](https://www.cisa.gov/news-events/alerts/2026/11/03/cisa-adds-one-known-exploited-vulnerability-catalog), a WordPress Core time-of-check/time-of-use race condition vulnerability, to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog based on evidence of active exploitation.
This deserves a concrete exposure check, not just a threat briefing. Ask security and digital operations to identify WordPress installations, including vendor-managed sites, determine applicability, and document remediation or containment. For the board, report exposure, accountable owners, and unresolved exceptions—not simply whether an alert was distributed.
[AWS reports that Circle K](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/how-circle-k-accelerated-devops-incident-triage-to-under-15-minutes-with-amazon-bedrock/) reduced DevOps incident triage from 45–60 minutes to under 15 using an agentic system on Amazon Bedrock. The account covers an initial Bedrock Flows implementation and a subsequent migration to AgentCore. Treat the reported result as a case study, not a forecast for your environment.
The useful management lesson is to select a bounded workflow with a measurable baseline. For an incident-triage pilot, track elapsed time, diagnostic accuracy, escalation quality, and operator overrides. Assign the service owner responsibility for acceptance criteria, and keep production remediation outside the agent’s authority until separately tested and approved.
[AWS describes a governed semantic layer](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/build-a-semantic-layer-for-agentic-ai-with-edb-postgres-ai-and-amazon-bedrock-agentcore/) in EDB Postgres AI, queried by an agent running on Bedrock AgentCore. Business meaning, join paths, and access controls reside in Postgres, with GRANT and row-level security enforcing what each agent can read.
The executive implication is straightforward: make business definitions and access rules explicit rather than leaving them to prompts. Choose one reporting domain, name the business owner, approve its measures and joins, and test access using different roles. Require agreement with trusted reports before using conversational answers in management decisions.
[AWS’s engineering-assistant example](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/agentic-engineering-intelligence-with-amazon-nova-multimodal-embeddings-and-amazon-bedrock-agentcore/) uses Amazon Nova Multimodal Embeddings, Bedrock AgentCore, and the Strands Agents SDK to assemble evidence for aerospace component substitutions. The described design keeps the engineer as the decision-maker.
That separation is worth applying to consequential workflows: automate evidence gathering before automating approval. Select one review process and define the required evidence package, missing-information checks, and human approval point. Measure completeness and reviewer effort alongside turnaround time. Do not treat a faster recommendation as authorization to execute it.
[OpenAI describes Pando](https://openai.com/index/scaling-git-at-openai), a Git-compatible backend built for the development scale it associates with Codex. The relevant leadership question is not whether to copy OpenAI’s infrastructure. It is whether your own development controls and supporting systems are ready for the workload you intend to introduce.
Before broadening coding-agent access, baseline review queues, build times, test reliability, and repository performance. Give engineering leadership ownership of capacity and quality thresholds. Prefer targeted changes to existing tooling; require evidence of a specific bottleneck before authorizing a platform replacement.
