These Terms govern your use of bernardpiccione.com and related domains (the "Site"), operated by Bernard W. Piccione ("we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Nature of the content — not professional advice
The Site publishes personal essays, book excerpts, newsletter issues, and marketing content about executive technology leadership. Nothing on the Site is professional, legal, medical, financial, tax, cybersecurity, or investment advice. Content is provided for general information only. Paid advisory engagements are governed by a separate written engagement letter — the Site itself does not create an advisor-client relationship.
2. Purchases and bookings
Paid engagements (Strategy Call, Board Readiness Review, Fractional CIO retainer, etc.) are processed via Stripe. All fees are stated in US Dollars and are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds for unrendered work are available on request; delivered work is non-refundable. Books linked from this Site are sold and fulfilled by Amazon under its own terms — we earn no commission on those purchases unless disclosed.
3. Intellectual property
All original text, layout, imagery, book covers used with permission, newsletter issues, and downloadable resources are © Bernard W. Piccione. You may read, print, and share individual pages for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Republication, training of machine-learning models on this content, or commercial redistribution requires prior written permission.
4. Third-party links and trademarks
Links to Amazon, LinkedIn, and other third-party sites are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for their content or practices. All third-party marks are the property of their respective owners.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to admin areas, databases, or accounts.
- Scrape or bulk-download content, including via automated tools or AI crawlers, without permission.
- Submit false information through forms, or use them to send spam or malicious payloads.
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or its security controls (reCAPTCHA, rate limits, RLS).
6. Disclaimers

7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bernard W. Piccione shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site. Total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Site (excluding contracted advisory engagements, which are governed by their engagement letter) shall not exceed USD $100.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bernard W. Piccione from any claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site.
